Maria Weir (Mill Creek) wrote a book entitled “What My Grandmother Told Me” It won the 2016 Skipping Stones Honor Award in the category of multicultural and international books.

You can find the book in the Sno-Isle and the Seattle Public Libraries.

Tai Chi Lecture/Performance by Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei

Master Yang and students of the Yang Chengfu Tai Chi Chuan Center have been cordially invited to:

The Development and Health Benefits of Chinese Tai Chi – A lecture by Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei followed by performances of Wushu and Tai Chi on Wednesday, June 1st from 6pm to 8pm at Kane Hall at the University of Washington.

Chinese Wushu & Taichi Academy LLC is honored to co-host Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei’s lecture on Wednesday, June 1st in Kane Hall on UW Seattle Campus, through partnership with the Confucius Institute of the State of Washington and Chen Zhenglei Tai Chi Training Center. On the occasion of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Chinese Wushu & Taichi Academy and the closing ceremony of Grandmaster Chen’s “The Light of Tai Chi” 2016 summer camp, GM Chen will be presenting a lecture and bring his disciples and students to perform at the University of Washington! In addition, the China Queen of Taichi — Master Gao Jiamin, with 6.8 million viewers on YouTube — will demonstrate 0n this special occasion too.

Beginner Class Starting

Calling all tai chi enthusiasts – A beginner class is starting on Monday, April 4th.  This class will meet weekly from 7pm to 8pm at the Hollyhills Clubhouse – 19200 Hollyhills Drive in Bothell.
